I have been working in the dental field since 2013 after a chance meeting with a local dentist. Before this, I was a stay at home Mom and before that I was a high school English teacher in Louisiana. Getting to know the patients over the years and learning about all that can be accomplished through dentistry has been a fantastic experience.

Katrina may have moved me and my wonderful family to Knoxville, but the people have truly made it my home as there is so much to enjoy in this area.

I began in the dental field in 1995. I was a Dental Assistant for 27 years and recently transitioned to receptionist. I adore family, music, and gardening.

Rachel, RDH

I am a dental hygienist born on the west coast in a rural farm town. I have had a passion for dental hygiene since teen years and graduated from University of the Pacific in 2006 with a BS in Dental Hygiene and have been practicing since. Happily married since 2008, I moved to Knoxville in 2021 with my husband, Kevin, and our cats. I enjoy gardening, canning and all types of outdoor activities.

I have enjoyed working as a hygienist and helping my patients maintain their beautiful smiles since 1982. I love spending time with my two daughters, two sons-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters. I’m glad to have been able to connect and grow with my patients over the years and happy to be a team member at Fountain City Smiles.

Doris, RDH

I have loved being a hygienist for the last 30+ years and getting to know our great patients. I was born, raised and educated in Ohio. I have two children and three grandchildren. When I am not at work, you can find me on my boat relaxing or at home where I cook and am learning to quilt.

Dyaonna, RDH

I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2023 after graduating from East Tennessee State University. I was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. I look forward to positively impacting my patient’s oral health and overall well-being here at Fountain City Smiles

In my free time, I enjoy drives, community service, movies, music, and weekend trips

Brook, RDA

My name is Brook. I was born and raised on a farm in Southern Alabama. I moved to Knoxville in 2016. I am very new to the Dental world, as I graduated in May of 2024 but it amazes me each day with the new technology & treatment plans. I’m very excited to continue learning each day in the Dental World!

When I’m not at work, I’m spending time with my family. We really enjoy being at the lake or mostly any outdoor activities!

Sarah, RDA

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2014. Patient care and knowing I would be part of a team that would accomplish something positive in patient’s lives is what drew me to dentistry and it has not disappointed. Seeing patients leave with a smile is the best feeling and what I strive for with every single visit.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter. We love being at the lake especially with family and friends. We enjoy road trips and new adventures.
